I worked as a Webmaster for the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Washington, where I was responsible for managing and maintaining the main archdiocesan website, the Catholic schools website, over 100 parish websites, and newspaper platforms such as Catholic Standard and El Pregonero. My role focused on ensuring peak performance, functionality, and security across all platforms. I collaborated closely with internal and external IT teams to maintain consistent codebases and deliver an improved user experience. I regularly patched, updated, and optimized WordPress themes, plugins, and modules to enhance site speed and security. As a result of strategic SEO implementation, keyword optimization, and content updates, organic traffic increased by over 200%.
